    Perlite ore is mined from the perlite quarries located in Faravan Pass. The perlite mined by heavy construction equipment is transported from the mine by trucks to the factory located in the organized industrial zone. Here the products are processed, fractionated and blown at 1150°C.

    Perlite is a siliceous volcanic rock that is found only in a few countries in the world. A unique feature of perlite is that it expands when heated to 35 times higher temperatures (850 - 1150ºC).

   This formation can be achieved through the bound water present in the natural mineral. If the perlite mineral is heated above 850°C (16,000°F), the water begins to boil, evaporate, the so-called The "thermal shock" process, as a result of which the perlite completely loses its bound water and becomes light.

     As a result of this process, we get perlite with unique lightness and physical properties.
